Roland System 500 series Eurorack modules
I am quite impressed with this series of Eurorack modules, and what is packed into the small packages. One, the modules sound fantastic. Two, the vast amount of features covers the bases. I also like the fact that there are enough inputs/outputs/CV to incorporate other Eurorack modules by adding a third/fourth VCO for example, or more complex modules like the Make Noise Maths. The dual VCA is great as it can work as a dual 3:1 (3 in, 1 out) VCAs (using OUTs) and can combine both VCAs so it has 2 SUM outputs which can take 6 inputs (3+3). The great part of this is I have 4 outputs I can use to be more creative with how I want to sculpt the final sound. The Dual EG (ADSR) also has an LFO which can be delayed/reset from either EG. The Phaser/Delay/Gate with LFO module is a great tool to put the final touches to the sound, though the Delay is a bit short (similar to the original System 100) but provide a nice effect to the sound.
